Short Bio. 

​

Blacken Light is based in Southern California and started out as an simple Idea in late 2010 after a long hiatus from the music scene. I soon began writing music, lyrics and creating complete songs in 2011 In memory of my little brother, band mate and best friend Carl {R.I.P.}

 

 I have been in other bands, most notably in the metal band Salient for 5 years, recording two Demo Cd's and playing numerous live shows across Southern California. When Blacken Light actualized, I decided to go the solo route for two main reasons: creative flexibility and zero band drama.  I am a multi-Instrumentalist {Guitars, Bass, Keyboards and Vocals} and I am trying to shed light on topics that either really Interest Me or Greatly Disturb me with My own dark perspective. I write songs to please myself, as well as my motivator, Carl.
